JOI makes a unique nutbase made of just one ingredient – 100% almonds. Nothing else. Except hopes and dreams. Unlike nut milk on the shelf: JOI hast 3 to 6 times more almonds; and unlike nut milk you make at home, JOI has no wasted nutrients because they use the whole nut.

The Task
The unique task for JOI was building a beautiful, simple and intuitive e-commerce experience that could scale to meet the growing demand of the direct-to-customer side of their business. The rebuild also had to account for a wholesale portal.
Robust E-Commerce Features
Custom pricing and wholesale applications, allow JOI to offer unique prices to specific users (i.e. wholesalers) while also selling products at retail prices direct to customer. We also implemented a subscription application so retail consumers have the option to pay monthly for JOI’s products.
Seamless Checkout
It was important to JOI that the checkout process be smooth and intuitive on every device. At the outset, only one product was listed, so we created an expedited checkout skipping the cart page and taking users directly to checkout.
